Poker Run Licenses

To be eligible for a poker run license in Sangamon County, the applicant must be a bonafide religious, charitable, labor, fraternal, educational, business or veteran's organization that operates without profit to their members. Click here to download a Sangamon County poker run application.

Fees

  • Each application for a license to conduct a poker run shall be accompanied by a fee of $25.00.

Additional Information

  • Each license is good for one year.
  • Licenses shall permit the applicant to conduct poker runs only for those dates stated in the license application.
  • Sales of chances for poker runs shall be only at location(s) designated in the license application.
  • Poker runs are licensed by the governing body with jurisdiction over the key location.
  • The license granted by the key location shall cover the entire poker run, including locations other than the key location.
  • Each license shall include the name and address of each location on the poker run.
  • All organizations must abide by the rules and regulations set forth in the Sangamon County Code. Click here to download the rules and regulations.
