Chief Deputy Coroner

Jim Allmon, BS, F-ABMDI

Jim has been employed as a Deputy Coroner since June 2003 as a death investigator / forensic autopsy assistant. His duties include collecting evidence, drawing toxicology samples, and doing human remains recovery/identification. In 2010, Jim was deployed to assist with morgue operations the recovery effort after the earthquake in Port au Prince, Haiti as a member of Kenyon International Disaster Management. In July of 2013 Jim obtained his fellowship status after becoming board certified in Medicolegal Death Investigation through the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators. Also in July of 2013 Jim was promoted to Chief Deputy Coroner.
