Todd P. Smith was elected to the Sangamon County Board in 2006 to represent District 2 in Northernmost Sangamon County, which consists of the Villages of Williamsville and Sherman, the unincorporated area of Andrew and many rural residents and landowners.
Todd has been a lifelong resident of the Williamsville/Sherman area choosing to return to the area after graduating from Bradley University to establish a career and raise a family. Todd and his wife, Leanne, who is also a lifelong resident of Sherman, have two children that went to school in the Williamsville School District.
Todd has an established a 25 year career in Sangamon County as a commercial real estate practitioner, developer and property manager with Garrison Group, Inc. Todd’s experience in his own small business, working with many other businesses as a commercial practitioner and community leader in economic development gives him an appreciation for the need for a diverse economic base with a balanced environment in which to live and raise a family.
